Boditech Med ㅡ “An emerging global IVD power house with global networks”

Hi everyone. I’m Jung-Joon, managing director of business development and investments at Boditech Med. My primary responsibilities are to invest and forge alliances with emerging healthcare partners. I’ve joined Boditech Med in fall of 2020 to face a new challenge in in-vitro diagnostics market, after having worked with dozens of start-ups throughout my 25-year career. I hope to leverage some of that experience in building Boditech’s future in the ever-changing IVD and MDx sectors.

I wear multiple hats at Boditech Med. I manage ‘Boditech Ventures’, an investment entity launched in May 2021, while concurrently being responsible for sourcing and forging alliances with potential partners across a broad range of collaboration opportunities, including but not limited to product co-development and cross-promotion.

For the last 20 years, I’ve spent most of my time making investment decisions. Today, I devote much of my time in forging alliances and they are proving to be a lot more complicated and difficult! My new rule of thumb: first establish trust, then talk business.
