Boditech Med ㅡ “The next page of my career”

Hello, my name is Jae Yeon Hong, I’m in charge of Russian sales at Boditech Med. Before I joined to Boditech Med, I worked as a medical coordinator for overseas patients for the last three years. What I’ve focused on was how to provide right medical services for each patient through diverse communications. After then, the world changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic also changed my career as I got interested in in-vitro diagnostic solutions. Finally, I joined Boditech Med in June of 2021.

After work, I usually do home workout. The thing is that I haven’t been infected by COVID-19 but I’m pretty sure that there are many people who gained COVID weight during social distancing as I did. That’s why I am working out so hard in these days. On weekends, I like to spend time with my family or go out and take some pictures. I sometimes go outside of Seoul alone with my camera. As I am very fond of nature, I mainly take pictures of landscapes. Whenever I go out, I can feel the power that coming from the nature. It enables me to relieve stress and to refresh myself.

I am in charge of sales in Russia focusing on in-vitro diagnostic solutions and animal diagnostic solutions. Especially in Russia, obtaining a license for medical devices takes a long time due to the complicated approval process and screening. However, based on continuous communication with relevant department, I am doing my best to fully support our distributors so that we can generate sales revenues in Russia. 

Boditech Med, which I had only seen through the website before joining the company, was totally a new world to me. The thing was that I didn't even know what POCT was, and I had no idea how to test it after taking a sample. And I was really surprised that such a small device can read results from samples. After joining to Boditech Med, I took the well-established education courses provided by Boditech Med and then I realized again how interesting the field of in-vitro diagnostic is and gained meaningful insight of the market. I am enjoying my life here! 

Our HQ is located in Chuncheon and we have an office in Seoul. I am mainly working at Seoul office, but sometimes I go to Chuncheon a day or two a week. When the weather is nice like these days, you can feel like going on a trip every week.

My first goal is to complete the registration of our products in Russia and to generate sales revenues. And the second is that I would like to be an asset of Boditech Med becoming the top POCT company in Russia market.
