THE GENERATION DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
ichroma™ TRIAS Reader is an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) device that measures the concentration of targeted analyte from a sample such as blood, nasal swabs, and nasopharyngeal swab in a quantitative or semi-quantitative way. The ichroma™ TRIAS Reader is a device used by experts with knowledge of clinical testing and infectious waste management, as it is a dedicated to rapid testing of infectious diseases such as A/B flu.

In the automatic test mode, sample reaction occurs in the reader after dropping a sample into the cartridge and immediately inserting the cartridge
into the reader. It can be automatically measured according to the set time and early judgment (1 minute 30 seconds for influenza) is capable.
This automatic test mode is advantageous when patients number is small.
In the scan mode, after dropping a sample into the cartridge, reacting for a pre-treatment time (10 minutes for influenza) from the outside of the reader
and inserting the cartridge into the reader, the result is immediately determined by the reader. It is advantageous for large number of patients.
TRIAS can input patient ID using barcode reader and patient’s barcode is printed on output paper.
The TRIAS reader has a LIS system thus, patient test results from the laboratory can be transmitted to the relevant department or doctor through the in-hospital computer network.
No. The TRIAS reader is able to measure various diseases such as respiratory diseases. Currently, only influenza is used however, other respiratory diseases are under development, and they are pected to be launched soon.
